Upcoming Events:
- Substance Use Disorder Treatment on Wednesdays at the EWRRC from 9am – 4pm. Available through Ideal Option, personalized addiction treatment with a variety of medications such as Suboxone or Vivitrol. You can stop by in person on a Wednesday to speak with them or click the link to make an appointment!
- Kaleidoscope Play & Learn on Mondays at the EWRRC from 10am – 11:30am. Available through Caregivers and children ages 0-5 come together to hear stories, do crafts, enjoy healthy snacks, and participate in circle time and supportive discussions.
- DOL2Go Mobile Unit on September 10th from 9am – 3pm. The Department of Licensing will be at the East Whatcom Regional Resource Center on September 10th 2024! Sign up to be contacted when we start scheduling appointments or call us at 360-599-3944 for more information!
- Blood Drive & Drawing this Fall! Are you interested in entering a prize drawing this Fall? Those who register to donate blood will be entered to win a prize drawing. Sign up to be contacted for an appointment!
Can’t donate blood? Instead, you can visit us for a fun evening of treats, fun, and entertainment this Fall at the 3rd Annual Trick or Treat Fair!
- Trick or Treat Fair, October 31st from 5pm – 7pm. Join us for an evening of resources, games, treats, entertainment, and prizes at the East Whatcom Regional Resource Center. No registration necessary and free for all members of the community!
At A Glance
The East Whatcom Regional Resource Center (EWRRC) is located at 8251 Kendall Road in Maple Falls, Washington. This is a Whatcom County facility managed by the Opportunity Council. A variety of resources are available at the EWRRC Community Center. Stop by to check it out; we would love to see you!
The facility opened in September, 2011, and provides space for the state of the art preschool program, Head Start, community meetings, community garden, and basic needs resources as well as events throughout the year for residents in Eastern Whatcom County.
Building 2: In March 2020 Building 2 at 8255 Kendall Rd opened as a permanent home for the Foothills Food Bank a separate 501c3, which operates their distributions on Tuesdays 9AM-12noon and on Thursdays 4-7Pm. Click here to visit their website and learn more. This new building also offers space for private meetings outside of Foothills Food Bank space.

You may review the center’s rental requirements and forms for non-commercial or commercial at the bottom of the linked page.
Proof of insurance is required for commercial events and use different forms than those for nonprofit/private use.
