The Early Learning & Family Services Policy Council provides a formal means for families to be involved in planning and decision making for the Early Head Start, Early Childhood
The Early Learning & Family Services Policy Council provides a formal means for families to be involved in planning and decision making for the Early Head Start, Early Childhood Education and Assistance, and Head Start programs locally administered by Opportunity Council.
In partnership with the Opportunity Council Board of Directors and Early Learning and Family Services (ELAFS) staff, Parent Representatives on the policy council serve in a vital leadership role by receiving information, training, and reports which they then share with other enrolled families at their individual sites.
