Having an official form of identification is like having a membership card to your community. It’s a key requirement to housing, employment, banking, and healthcare.

The Access ID clinic is available to help low-income, disabled, older adults, veterans and homeless residents of Whatcom County gain official identification so that they may access housing, healthcare, and other benefits.

Walk-ins are accepted from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

At the clinic people can:

• Receive vouchers to cover the cost of an official Washington State ID or Enhanced ID Card*
• Learn which supplemental documents are required to apply for official identification
• Receive help (including financial support) in requesting supplemental documents from other institutions
