Opportunity Council is beginning an important new chapter as we search for our next Executive Director.

After more than three decades with Opportunity Council, Greg Winter retired as Executive Director on August 31. Lorena Shah and Dave Foreman are serving as Interim Co-Executive Directors while our Board of Directors leads the search for our next permanent leader.

Our next Executive Director will build on a strong foundation and help guide what comes next for Opportunity Council. They will work alongside our staff, Board, partners, and communities to advance our mission across Northwest Washington.

Applications are now being accepted. The priority application deadline is November 30, 2026.
