About the need for diapers and wipes.
Access to clean diapers is one of the most fundamental requirements for a baby to have the safe and healthy start to life they deserve. Yet 1 in 3 families in the U.S. experience diaper need. The average family with a child in diapers spends $80 a month on diapers alone.
In addition to the health and safety risks diaper need poses to babies, without an adequate supply of diapers, babies are less likely to be accepted into child care programs making it harder for their parents to work.

Support Basics for Babies
Basics for Babies is made possible by community support. Consider a monthly donation so that diapers and wipes are available whenever babies are in need.
Donations of sealed, unopened packages of diapers and wipes are also accepted at all Opportunity Council-managed Community Resource Centers during regular business hours.
