Join the Opportunity Council and our community partners in making our community stronger, safer, and healthier for everyone. Because what affects one part of our community, affects us all.

Recovery House—an innovative collaboration between the Opportunity Council, Lifeline Connections, and our partners with the Whatcom County Health Department and local drug and mental health courts—is a new project creating much-needed transitional housing for people striving to overcome opioid addiction and other forms of chemical dependency.

You’re invited to tune in Tuesday, April 27th via Facebook or Zoom to hear directly from community leaders, learn more about the project and its benefits, and help fund the final touches needed to make the house a home.

Once open, Recovery House will provide critically needed residential treatment services for people navigating the challenges of both mental health and substance abuse disorders. These services are shown to help prevent incarceration, reduce homelessness and save lives. But to make Recovery House the center Whatcom County needs and the home its residents deserve, we need your help with the finishing touches.
