Assistance can be used as credit for next winter’s energy bill

BELLINGHAM, WASH. (July 25, 2019) –Opportunity Council’s Energy Assistance program is now open and scheduling appointments to help prepare for next winter’s energy bills.

Energy Assistance appointments can be made for Puget Sound Energy Home Energy Lifeline Program (PSE HELP) and Cascade Natural Gas Washington Energy Assistance Fund (CNG WEAF) by calling 360-255-2192. This assistance can be used as a credit to pay for future energy expenses.

Scheduling will remain open until all available appointments have been filled.

To see if you qualify, please call the Energy Assistance Scheduling and Information Line at 360-255-2192 or 1-888-586-7293, Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-noon and 1:00 -5:00 p.m., closed on Friday.  We are unable to accept walk-ins.

If you are facing disconnection or are disconnected with PSE or CNG, please contact us as crisis appointments may be available.
