Information for individuals that wish to volunteer

To search for projects in any state that are currently recruiting volunteers please visit https://my.americorps.gov/mp/listing/publicRequestSearch.do.

To review projects that are sub-sponsors to the Opportunity Council located in Whatcom, Island or San Juan county, quick search using the following selections:

  1. Program Type: Americorps VISTA
  2. State: Washington
  3. Program Name: “Opp. Council”

All of our projects that are looking for a recruit will be listed with the Opportunity Council’s name first followed by the agency name
(example: Opp. Council – American Red Cross.)
