to start a new project

To apply for a project, follow these steps:

1. Understand the VISTA program and philosophy by reviewing the information at this site: http://www.americorps.gov/for_organizations/apply/vista.asp.

2. Review our “Best Practices” for a successful VISTA project.
   • AmeriCorps*VISTA Best Practices Document
3. Contact the VISTA project manager to discuss available openings and the feasibility of your project.
4. Submit your project idea using (A) The American VISTA concepts paper and (B) The OC Vista Application Questions attached below.
